SPECIAL SERIES: $500,000,000
LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 5
0/5 Remaining ***SOLD OUT***
Printed by the United States Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and printing, from the actual dies and plates, this rare collection of intaglio bank notes (printed on one side only, not legal tender) includes the following:
The back of a 1918 $5,000 Federal Reserve note, from the American Heritage Collection.
The front of a $500,000,000 coupon Treasury note. The largest fiduciary instrument printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and issued by the Federal Government. A coupon Treasury note is a negotiable bearer security: one which is payable to anyone having possession of the security. The owner’s name is not shown on the document and, for that reason, the security should be treated and safeguarded as carefully as cash.
The back of a 1918 $500 Federal Reserve note, which is the second series of large-size issues. The 1914 Series was issued in denominations from $5 to $100, and the 1918 denominations from $500 to $10,000.
This rare collection is a limited edition of only 5 and is signed and numbered by Rare World Treasures (RWT).
